Executive Manager / Program Director - Banking Transformation

About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Executive Manager / Program Director to drive the delivery of business-as-usual (BAU) governance while leading complex change and transformation programs within our banking operations. This pivotal role will support the Director of Operations in instigating and managing a wide-reaching program of transformation, ensuring change initiatives are strategically aligned, well-governed, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end leadership of BAU governance and change project portfolios.
• Partner with the Director of Operations to design and implement a strategic program of transformation and change.
• Oversee program governance, frameworks, and reporting to ensure accountability, transparency, and delivery excellence.
• Manage resourcing requirements, balancing business-as-usual needs with strategic transformation initiatives.
• Able to use your initiative and suggest to the director ideas to expediate change and meet key deliverables
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the bank, ensuring buy-in and engagement throughout the change journey.
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across change initiatives.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in banking or financial services, with a strong track record in leading large-scale programs of change and transformation and coordinating transformation programs of work.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to engage senior executives and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated capability in managing people, building high-performing teams, and influencing at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and governance discipline in complex project environments.
• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
• Experience in program governance, risk management, and change leadership within the banking sector.
