About the role…

Seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Lab Technician to support our laboratory operations, preferably with experience working with industrial coolants. This role involves conducting routine testing, sample preparation and basic analysis to ensure product quality and compliance with safety standards.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for flexible hours and hands-on lab experience in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities...

Perform routine testing and analysis of coolants and related fluids

Prepare and process samples according to established protocols

Maintain accurate records of test results and observations

Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment

Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies

Comply with all safety and quality assurance procedures

Standing and light lifting may be required

About you...

Relevant tertiary qualification in a scientific or laboratory-based discipline

Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory or technical role

Prior experience with industrial coolants is highly regarded

Strong attention to detail & ability to follow protocols accurately

Ability to work independently & manage time effectively

Familiarity with WHS/OHS standards & safe lab practices

Role may involve standing for extended periods & occasional light lifting
