The Role

The successful Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Project Manager and Site team to deliver new build projects ranging from $20M–$50M. You will be responsible for coordinating design, procurement, planning and site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with project planning, programming, and delivery coordination
• Managing and reviewing technical documentation and design coordination
• Preparing and monitoring procurement schedules and subcontractor packages
• Supporting cost control, quality assurance and reporting requirements
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain progress and compliance
• Ensuring safety, environmental and quality standards are met throughout all project stages

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience in a Project Engineer or similar role within commercial construction
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and programming
• Solid knowledge of design coordination and project documentation management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with construction software such as MS Project, Procore or similar
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a project team
• Commitment to safety, quality and delivering results
