Senior Project Engineer – Bulk Earthworks

One of NSW’s most respected mid-tier civil contractors has secured a series of large-scale bulk earthworks packages on active mine sites — and they’re looking for a Senior Project Engineer to take a leading role in delivery.

The Opportunity You’ll be joining a delivery-focused team tackling $30M–$80M earthworks and infrastructure projects, including cut-to-fill operations, haul roads, drainage, and site civils for major mining clients.
As Senior Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with an experienced Project Manager, leading technical delivery, program control, cost tracking, and on-site coordination. You’ll be trusted to run your area of works, with support that empowers — not smothers.

About You You’re a Senior Project Engineer (or experienced Project Engineer ready to step up) with:

  • Background in bulk earthworks, mine civils, or heavy infrastructure projects in Australia
  • Experience managing subcontractors, QA, budgets, and schedules in live environments
  • Solid technical grounding and commercial awareness
  • The ability to bring the team together — practical, proactive and safety-minded
