About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workforce Development Project Coordinator to join our Workforce Development team at WVPHN.
In this dynamic role, you’ll coordinate and manage a range of workforce development projects across the region in supporting primary care providers through education, collaboration, and capacity-building initiatives.
Working closely with the Workforce Development leadership team, you’ll oversee projects from planning through to evaluation, help deliver online and face-to-face learning opportunities, and play an integral part in building a skilled and sustainable primary care workforce across western Victoria.
Duties include:
Lead the design, coordination and delivery of Project ECHO and other education initiatives.
Manage end-to-end project activities, including planning, implementation, procurement and evaluation.
Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the primary care workforce.
Facilitate networks and forums to identify workforce needs, gaps and opportunities across the region.
Prepare project documentation, briefings, reports and risk management updates for key stakeholders.
Key Selection Criteria (KSC's)
Essential:
Tertiary qualification in project management, health or a related field, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
Proven experience in project coordination or management, ideally within the health or community services sector.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate online learning programs or webinars.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative partnerships.
Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desirable:
Project Management certification.
Experience in quality improvement or health system integration projects.
Employment requirements
Be prepared to undergo a National Police Check, prior to appointment
A current Victorian driver’s licence
Working rights in Australia (visa, permanent resident, citizen)
