The Fortitudo Group is one of South East Queensland’s leading hospitality collectives with a portfolio of 7 venues and 21 bottle shops strategically located within an hour of Brisbane. We are on the lookout for a Group Operations Manager to lead our passionate teams across a portfolio of vibrant, high-performing venues.

As the Group Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational functions across all venues, driving the performance of the group through achieving budgets and implementing plans in line with the Group’s strategic direction. You will report directly to the CEO and Group General Manager and work closely with the Venue Managers, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

This is more than an operational role — it’s a leadership opportunity focused on coaching, mentoring, and elevating teams. You’ll oversee 7 high-volume venues across the group, guiding 30–80 staff per location and playing a pivotal role in performance, engagement, and cultural alignment.

Key Duties

Leading and inspiring a diverse team of senior leaders across a multi-venue portfolio.

Identifying new opportunities for innovation, margin growth, and service elevation.

Set standards and objectives for different venues and departments.

Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company's policies and operational guidelines.

Strong ability to maintain & implement regulatory requirements set out by governing bodies such as OLGR & AUSTRAC.

Essential criteria required to be considered:

3+ years’ experience in multi-site leadership within the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of hotel compliance, OH&S and relevant metrics.

A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage effectively with everyone from senior management to front-line staff.

Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Confident and clear communicator.

Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across South East Queensland.
