The Goondiwindi Golf & Country Club, a vibrant and well-regarded sporting and social venue in the Goondiwindi region, is seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to lead the Club’s day-to-day operations and help drive its continued success and growth.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the efficient running of the Club’s operations, including the golf course, bar, events, staffing, and member services. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality, sport, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the Club, including bar and clubhouse facilities, golf course scheduling, and member services.

Manage staff and contractors to ensure a high standard of service and presentation.

Develop and implement strategies to grow membership, increase patronage, and promote the Club within the community.

Work with the Board to manage budgets, financial reporting, and operational planning.

Coordinate and support Club events, competitions, and functions.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including WHS, RSA, and licensing regulations.

Foster strong relationships with members, sponsors, and community stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience in hospitality, club, or venue management.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Financial and administrative management experience.

Ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic environment.

A hands-on, can-do attitude with attention to detail.

Knowledge or interest in golf (preferred but not essential).

Current RSA certificates (or ability to obtain).

Relevant qualifications in business, hospitality, or sport/recreation management (desirable).
