We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our busy Greek-inspired restaurant. With a focus on fresh, seasonal produce and authentic flavours, we pride ourselves on delivering warm hospitality and memorable dining experiences.

About the Role:
As Head Chef, you will take ownership of all kitchen operations, from menu creation and costing to leading, training, and inspiring the team. You’ll bring creativity and consistency to our offering while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute seasonal menus that highlight Greek and Mediterranean flavours

Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and smooth service

Manage stock control, supplier relationships, and food cost targets

Lead, train, and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff

Maintain compliance with food safety and OH&S standards

Collaborate with management to deliver an outstanding dining experience

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced venue

Strong knowledge of Mediterranean/Greek cuisine (or a genuine passion to learn)

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards

A hands-on leader who sets the tone in the kitchen
