About the Role
As an enthusiastic Senior Business and Systems Analyst within our Information & Technology Management Services (ITMS) team, you’ll to play a key role in the Community Investment Project Management (CIPM) Solution Project – an initiative set to transform how Homes Tasmania plans, manages and reports on capital investment activity. This phased program is creating a scalable, fit-for-purpose solution that strengthens data quality, reduces manual effort, and builds confidence in decision-making while establishing a consistent foundation for transparent reporting across the organisation.
In this role you’ll work closely with the Project Manager, fellow analysts, business units, vendors and stakeholders to deliver business-driven technology change. You’ll support the implementation of innovative digital solutions that improve Homes Tasmania’s operating environment and enable more effective oversight and integration of future projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead business and systems analysis, including process review and redesign.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver technology projects and initiatives.
- Document requirements, manage testing and training, and support deployment.
- Apply project and change management methodologies.
- Assist the Project Manager and contribute to broader ITMS priorities.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in business and systems analysis, process mapping, and technology implementation.
- Strong project and change management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise, negotiate, and problem-solve.
- Strategic thinking and ability to provide specialised advice.
- High-level written skills for documentation and reporting.
Desirable Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience and/or qualifications in business analysis, project/change management, or ITIL®.
- Current certifications in business analysis, project management, or change management.

- Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Employment type).

Location & Hours
- Employment Type: Permanent full-time (76 hours per fortnight)
- Work Type: Day work; part-time hours may be considered
- Location: Homes Tasmania - Information & Technology Management Service - South – specific location negotiable with the successful applicant
