As a Technical Consultant in the Citrix Platforms team at the University of Melbourne, you'll play a crucial role in delivering and maintaining cutting-edge digital workspace solutions. You'll provide expert technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Citrix endpoints across the university. This role offers you the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders, from researchers to clinicians, ensuring they have the best possible technology experience to support their work in a world-class institution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for Citrix endpoint issues across the university.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with faculty staff, researchers, and clinicians to understand and meet their specialised technical needs.
- Innovation: Contribute to the development and implementation of new Citrix technologies and features to enhance user experience.
- Knowledge Management: Create and maintain detailed documentation, contributing to a robust knowledge base for the team and users.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a customer-focused IT professional with strong technical skills in Citrix technologies and Windows operating systems, possessing excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences in a complex academic environment.
You may also:
- Hold relevant IT qualifications or certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional).
- Demonstrate experience in providing technical support for diverse hardware and software environments.
- Have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Citrix and Windows technologies.
