About the role

On Point Utility Locating Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Field / Utility Surveyor to join our team in Sydney , NSW. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in our construction projects, using your expertise to accurately locate and map underground utility networks.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive site surveys to identify the location and depth of underground utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and telecommunications cables

Producing detailed utility maps and reports to inform construction planning and ensure the safety of our projects

Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely information

Maintaining all necessary survey equipment and ensuring it is calibrated and in good working order

Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Surveying or a related field (Tafe applicants accepted)

Experience as a Field / Utility Surveyor in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of underground utility location techniques and survey equipment

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

A valid driver's licence and ability to work independently on-site
