You’ll work closely with both corporate and site-based teams, supporting financial integrity, compliance and performance in a complex, multi-entity environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for group reporting, consolidation, and ensuring strong financial governance. You’ll play a key part in the monthly and annual reporting cycles while supporting strategic and operational decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead month-end and year-end financial reporting and consolidations
• Ensure compliance with AASB/IFRS and robust internal controls
• Review site performance and provide meaningful insights to management
• Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations and audit processes
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and reporting
• Partner with operations and commercial teams to enhance business performance
• Mentor and guide junior finance team members

About You

You’ll bring a strong technical foundation, an eye for detail, and the confidence to partner across the business.

Key requirements:

• CA/CPA qualification, ideally from a Big 4 or Big 6 background
• Strong post-qualification experience in a complex, multi-entity or mining environment
• Exposure to Pronto or similar ERP systems
• Excellent technical accounting and analytical skills
• Proven management or team leadership experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
