Senior Financial Accountant / 6-month Contract / $160000-$170000 / Bibra Lake / Development

An exciting immediate start role with a Supply Chain business currently exists to fill a key role in their finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Senior Financial Accountant role will help assist in the management and communication of the company's financial accounting activities. Initially this will be a 6-month contractual assignment, however there is a strong belief for this Project Accountant role to be extended and/or made permanent.

Senior Financial Accountant key responsibilities:

• Management of the full accounting and month-end processes
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Business partner with key divisional teams on financial results
• Three-way cashflow reporting
• Assist in annual statutory audit by preparing the necessary account reconciliations and liaising with the external auditor.
• Manage Capex process and Fixed Asset Register
• Assist with implementation projects

Key skills required:

• Experience of being in a similar role within a fast-paced distribution / logistics business
• Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident with systems (implementation experience advantageous)
