Restaurant Hubert has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Venue Manager to join the team.

Restaurant Hubert is one of downtown Sydney’s busiest and most loved venues. We offer classic French cuisine, an extensive international wine list and showcase some of the city’s finest live jazz music. We pride ourselves on extending warm and knowledgeable service, incredible ambience and delivering a magical experience for every guest.

The role is primarily focussed on delivering a memorable experience to our guests through:

Maintaining service standards in our dining room by actively leading the team

Delivering regular staff trainings for the front of house

Conveying constant and constructive, one on one feedback to our employees

Having open and regular dialogue with our Head Chef and Reservations team

Inducting new employees to the venue

Mentoring junior team members and facilitating their progression within the venue and beyond

Maintaining the venue's presentation at all times

This role suits somebody who has previously held a Restaurant Manager or General Manager title in a similar style of operation. We are looking for somebody who is truly passionate about hospitality, and the varied and interesting interactions that this role will bring. Skills in people management and diplomacy are a must!
