The Position:

Working across our two Melbourne CBD locations and servicing clients nationally, you will be able to provide general IT support services to our clients and team in our serviced office environment including:

Office based role, working from a premium office environment

Manage L1 & L2 Tickets

Maintain local IT Inventory

Co-Ordinate with local IT vendors

Handle IT support needs of local internal teams.

Review and upsells to members the TEC technology offering including server rack space, dedicated internet, telecommunication solutions.

Handle any related ad-hoc projects when necessary

Responsibilities include

Proficient in configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of data & telecommunications networks, Cisco network equipment, including but not limited to routers, switches, firewall, wireless networks and Access Control Servers.

Monitor and alert team for any abnormality / outages in the network.

Manage Network inventory.

Take part in any other regional IT initiatives as directed by the HQ.

Assisting with operational and customer service support as needed.

Primary Technical Skills

Experience with Cisco LAN/WAN troubleshooting.

Experience with Microsoft Windows and Mac operating systems in a network.

Knowledge of MS Office Suite, iPhone and Android smart devices support.

IP Telephony deployment or maintenance experience.

Qualifications required

Higher Diploma (or above) in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, IT, or similar disciplines).

1+ year(s) of IT related work experience AND 1+ year(s) of client service/sales work experience

Experience required

Good oral and written English language skills

Excellent and up to date technical skills

Good attention to detail and time keeping skills

Team player, gets on well with others

Can work independently with minimum supervision, is proactive and able to work under pressure
