The Role:

You will play a vital role in the company’s stability, growth and direction, working directly with the CEO and leadership team across several strategic & financial objectives. You will take ownership of coordinating and reporting on the day-to-day financial-related activities of the business and its relevant entities.

The businesses current financial situation is strong, and the finance function is well set up for someone to come in, hit the ground running, and leverage their skills to further enhance this highly dynamic business.

Financial responsibilities:

Weekly/monthly business partnering with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), providing insight into reporting, forecasts, and providing necessary recommendations

Collaborate with and report directly to the CEO on day-to-day finance activities across the group

Ensure timely and accurate end-of-month and end-of-year reporting

Prepare monthly management reports, forecasts, and variance analysis

Full ownership of all foreign currency (FX) obligations

Maintain and manage debtors and creditors list

Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies

Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors

Non-financial responsibilities:

Mentor and manage a small, high performing team consisting of 1 x Senior Accountant, and 2x AP/AR officers

Produce monthly sales representative and project reports

About you:

Approachable, collaborative and natural leadership mentality - personable, and wants to be involved with all aspects of the business daily

Experience handling foreign currency (FX) across multiple currencies

Strong financial modelling, reporting, cashflow and budgeting/forecasting skills

Experience in the manufacturing sector, or large inventory type business models

Strong review & analysis capability to drive efficient management reporting

CA/CPA designation and related credentials

Experienced in handling the annual audit process
