The Impact You’ll Make

As an Outsourced Financial Controller & Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering both the bookkeeping foundations and higher-level financial control services that set our clients up for success.

Your role will combine:

Client Management – Act as the trusted first point of contact, delivering proactive communication, insights, and value.

Advisory & Financial Control – Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow monitoring—bringing clarity to clients’ decision-making.

Team Leadership – Manage and mentor a skilled offshore team (up to 5 staff), ensuring accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Quality Oversight – Ensure high standards across bookkeeping and financial control, including reconciliations, payroll, month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.

What You’ll Bring

Degree qualified in Australia (CA/CPA highly regarded or in progress).

5+ years’ experience in public practice, with strong client management skills in tax or equivalent.

Leadership or supervisory experience, ideally managing offshore teams.

Strong proficiency with Xero (Advisor & Payroll certified), plus MYOB/QuickBooks/Dext.

Advanced skills in financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.

Tech-savvy with a focus on process improvement and system optimisation.

Excellent written and verbal communication—able to explain financial matters clearly.
