About The Ranges Early Learning Centres
The Ranges Early Learning & Care Centres have been caring for the community for the past 44 years. We have 2 Centres- our Infant Toddler Centre & our ELC based in the beautiful Adelaide Hills town of Stirling, a short 20-minute drive from the city.

Our team work together with our families and community to provide an early learning education that promotes a child's interests, learning capabilities and styles enabling children to grow in confidence and individuality as they learn. We strive to provide that “home away from home” experience and environment.

About You

*You will be Diploma (highly desired) or Certificate III qualified and wanting to grow your career with a supportive team.

* Available to work a minimum of 2 days/week part time OR Full-time.

*You must have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special.

* You must be able to laugh at jokes you don't understand, or you don't find funny!

* You will preferably have a little bit of quirkiness. If a child requests that you be a captain of a pirate ship, you will be the best pirate captain you can be!

* The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd is essential.

* You must be able to distribute warm hugs as required.

* Possessing the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people is of the utmost importance.

* You must have a high level of comfort around talking about bodily functions. You must have a strong sense of smell to enable you to respond to said bodily functions.

* Pretending to eat playdoh creations realistically is required, and that of drinking numerous cups of pretend tea.

* You must have the ability to read a ten page fairytale, upside down, with at least 4 interruptions per page.

* You must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace. Laughter is something you can expect to engage in for a large part of your working day.

* Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families. There is simply no other job quite like this one.

Skills and experience

The right candidates for this role will have their:

* Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

* Current Responding to Abuse & Neglect Education & Care Training

* Current Working with Children's Check

* Current Food Safety Certificate

* Good written and communication skills

* Good knowledge of the Early Years Learning and National Quality Framework

* Ideally have prior experience working in a Centre

* Availability to work across the week on a rotating roster (Mon-Fri) between opening hours of 6.30am to 6.30pm (flexibility in rostering is highly desired)
