About the Role

We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented Estimator | Cost Planner to join a passionate and collaborative team working across a range of multi-residential developments.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of each project from the initial acquisition of land through to settlement, giving you a rare opportunity to see the direct impact of your work at every stage. You’ll manage project budgets, produce accurate cost estimates, support procurement, and drive financial efficiency from pre-construction through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and feasibility analyses during early project stages
• Develop, manage, and track project budgets for residential and multi-residential developments
• Issue and manage purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor actual costs against budgeted forecasts and update accordingly
• Work closely with project teams, site managers, and senior stakeholders to support procurement and cost planning
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to improving overall financial performance
• Support reporting and forecasting processes throughout the project lifecycle—from land acquisition to settlement

About You

• Strong experience in residential or multi-residential construction (builder/developer background highly regarded)
• Proven ability in cost planning, estimating, and budget control
• Strong understanding of purchase order systems and construction procurement
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and proactive, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
