About the role
Are you an experienced Account Manager with 4PL, freight or logistics experience? If so, we'd like to talk to you!
As an Account Manager at Myfreight, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and growing our valued customer relationships. You will provide support to the National Sales Department by effectively and proactively managing and being directly responsible for the success your account/s.
This full-time position based across our head office in Ringwood and a major customer premises in South East Melbourne offers the opportunity to work closely with our clients, understand their unique needs, and provide tailored freight solutions that drive their business success.

Primary accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively manage and nurture a portfolio of one or more key client accounts
Develop trust and strong relationships with clients through regular communication on and off site
Daily reporting of key performance metrics
Provide escalation as well as proactive attention to customer service enquiries
Management of carrier performance in line with SLA metrics
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell our range of freight services
Management and lodging of Dangerous Goods/Compliance issues in line with Chain of Responsibility requirements
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reporting on account activity
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience in an Account Management role
Solid experience within the logistics or freight industry, 4PL experience is highly valued but not mandatory
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address client needs
Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
