Position Summary:
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for passionate and innovative Permanent Full Time Health, Safety and Training Advisor (HSET Advisors) to join our team in the Mid West.
Roster: 8/6
Travel: FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton
The ideal candidate will be:
Highly driven to create a safe operational culture through mentoring, coaching, and leading by example
Emotionally intelligent with strong communicative skills at all levels of the organisation
Strong drive for process and operational improvement
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role in mining and maintenance industry
Competent in the use of Microsoft applications
Responsibilities:
Support and encourage a positive safety culture
Mentoring site leaders and employees to further develop and hone their safety knowledge and awareness
Ensure compliance with Karridale Group, client, legislative and regulatory requirements for work health and safety
Develop safe work procedures as required in consultation with subject matter experts
Conduct safety audits and site Inspections
Develop and deliver site inductions, toolbox meetings and training packages
Conduct incident investigations and provide appropriate recommendations
Facilitate training and VOCs for site employees
Maintain safety and training records
Prepare HSEQ reports and perform regular analysis on site safety
