Our client is a growing lending brokerage known for providing tailored financing solutions and exceptional client service. Partnering with a broad panel of lenders, they specialise in helping clients secure residential lending suited to their needs. As the business continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join their high-performing operations team.

As a Credit Analyst, you’ll play a key role in assessing and structuring loan applications, ensuring they meet both client objectives and lender requirements. You’ll work closely with brokers and relationship managers to analyse financials, identify risks, and provide sound recommendations that support confident credit decisions.

Location: Melbourne - Docklands
Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
Salary: $95K - $105K Package, inclusive of superannuation

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyse credit applications for individuals across home lending products.

Assess financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to determine serviceability and creditworthiness.

Prepare credit submissions and make well-supported recommendations for approval.

Liaise with brokers, lenders, and internal stakeholders to gather information and resolve queries.

Maintain accuracy and compliance with lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Support continuous improvement of credit assessment processes and documentation standards.

About You

3–5 years’ experience in credit analysis or credit assessment (ideally within a brokerage, non-bank, or lending environment).

Strong understanding of residential lending structures.

Proven ability to interpret financial statements and assess serviceability.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and written communication.

Ability to manage multiple applications and competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
