About the Role

We are currently seeking a Full-time HR Officer to join our People & Culture team to support our factory located at Yatala, QLD.

Reporting directly to the People & Culture Manager, this role is pivotal in delivering hands-on HR support, driving compliance, and contributing to our People & Culture function.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

1. HR Operations & Coordination

Support day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle

Assist with end-to-end recruitment and onboarding

Maintain and update our HRIS system with accuracy

Prepare HR documents, contracts, and records

2. OH&S & Risk Management

Conduct regular OH&S site audits and inspections

Complete risk assessments and ensure follow-up actions

Coordinate incident reporting and documentation

Champion safety awareness and compliance with regulations

3. WorkCover & Return to Work

Manage end-to-end WorkCover cases and compliance

Liaise with stakeholders including case managers and medical professionals

Support and coordinate return-to-work plans

4. Employee Relations Support

Support Department Manager in managing employee conduct, performance, and grievances

Attend ER meetings as required alongside the P&C Manager

Promote a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork

About the incumbent

You are a self-motivated and committed individual with a passion and drive to achieve the goals set before you. A team-player with a focus on teamwork and client service. You will also have sound administration skills and knowledge of the fundamentals of Human Resources including Recruitments, OH&S and Stakeholder management. Partnering with our People & Culture Manager, you will be a key member in supporting HR initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Proven ability to operate autonomously in a standalone HR role.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred

Qualification in Human Resources or a related field (desirable)

Blue-collar industry experience (preferred)
