We are a well-established Civil Contractor based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne that are one of the lesser known outfits, and we like it that way. We have a great culture that we're particularly proud of keeping the vast majority of our staff employed the last 2 years while our industry has gone through \a quiet patch.

Our bread and butter are: earthworks, subdivision construction, wetlands and council works; mainly carried out for long-term private clients where we have excellent rapport, understanding and great loyalty with.

We are currentlty building five large projects, with another five set to start in the next couple of months.

We are looking to welcome an additional Civil Supervisor to join our family and be posted on a new subdivision project we have just secured, as your first project of many.

Your Role

This is a great opportunity to join a business that was built from the ground up by the Director who has passed on the mantle of running the business to those that have worked with him for the past 10 years.

You will rarely have to travel to a job site that is located further than 10 km from our main office, as we believe that all our staff have lives outside of work and should be able to get home to their families, training and other commitments.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and Construction Manager so that they can ensure that you have all the necessary plant, machinery, equipment and manpower to get the job done and handle all of the administration, financials and client management required.

As such, the successful candidate must possess:

Demonstrated ability and expertise in Residential & Commercial Subdivisions as well as Earthworks projects

Demonstrated team work abilities and leadership qualities

Autonomous work and management practices

Exposure and understanding of best practice OHS culture (We are not cowboys!)
