We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Project Operations team based in Melbourne. This role involves working on technically challenging infrastructure projects, coordinating on-site activities, and ensuring high-quality project execution. Some travel, including interstate, will be required for further projects.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

On-Site Supervision: Coordinate and manage construction activities, including:

Installation of water & wastewater pipelines

Excavation, shoring, and deep sewer construction

Concrete structures, finishing work, and road restoration

Team & Contractor Management: Ensure workforce, subcontractors, and suppliers meet safety, budget, and quality standards.

Project Coordination: Oversee plant, equipment, materials, and procurement to maintain cost control.

Safety & Compliance: Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to uphold site safety.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients and local communities.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all documentation, reporting, and site inspections align with project requirements.

What You Need:

5+ years as a Site Supervisor in civil construction

Strong experience in water/wastewater pipelines, deep sewers, concrete structures

Preferably microtunnelling experience

Construction Induction (White Card)

Cert IV in Civil Supervision (or willingness to obtain)

Proven leadership & communication skills

Previous experience managing a construction workforce
