About the business and the role

We are a small but growing Accounting firm based in Burwood. We currently require an intermediate Accountant who can speak Sinhalese to join our team to start immediately

The Successful Candidate:

You must be approachable and friendly. You will work on a range of small to medium clients and be involved with tasks from start to finish.

You will also need:

At least 2-3 years’ experience in Tax and Business Services

Thorough up to date knowledge in Taxation and its application to SMEs

Ability to prepare Tax returns & financial statement preparations for companies, trusts, individuals & partnerships using Xero Practice Manager

Sound knowledge in GST compliance and reporting requirements

Team Member Requirements:

Positive attitude to work , Ability to work both in team environment and autonomously

Attention to detail, Good communication and writing skills with clients and the ATO

Strong time management skills

Proficient in Excel, Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
