About the role

This is a full-time position with duties including but not limited to:

Assisting in the preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns, Activity Statements, Payroll Tax Returns, ASIC Compliance and client communication for all entity types giving you exposure to a wide range of clients

Liaise with the ATO and ASIC

Be provided with CA/CPA support including mentoring and study leave days

Work in new offices, 200 metres from public transport

As such this role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications and experience:

2-4 years business services experience with an Australian accounting firm

Degree qualified and CA or CPA qualifications commenced or completed

Experience in Personal Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements, Payroll Tax Returns and ASIC Compliance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate with clients is paramount

Positive and enthusiastic attitude

Resourceful and self-motivated with a strong client focus

Strong attention to detail

Must have had exposure to Xero
