Senior Business Services Accountant – Melbourne

I’m working with a mid-tier accounting firm here in Melbourne that is looking to bring a Senior Accountant into their Business Services team. The work itself:
You’d be looking after a mix of clients – family groups, private businesses, corporates, and the option for international exposure if that’s of interest. The role covers the usual prep of financials, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax, plus plenty of advisory work and the chance to get involved in structuring and growth strategies. It’s also a team that collaborates really well across offices, so you’re not siloed.

Who they’re after:
Someone who’s already got solid experience in business services/tax within a professional firm and is either CA/CPA qualified or close to it. Strong technical knowledge is important, but just as much they want someone who’s proactive, good with clients, and enjoys being part of a team that supports each other.
