About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Assistant/Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice in Parrearra, Queensland. This part-time role (for the right candidate, a full time position would be considered) will see you supporting our team of dental professionals in providing exceptional orthodontic care to our patients. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of our practice and delivering an excellent patient experience.

What you'll be doing

Assisting hygienists/therapists/orthodontist during examinations and procedures

Sterilising and preparing equipment and instruments

Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes

Providing outstanding customer service to patients and their families

Ensuring the dental/orthodontic surgery and waiting areas are kept clean and tidy

Undertaking other administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant, preferably within a dental or orthodontic practice

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients

A friendly, professional and adaptable approach to your work

Relevant qualifications or certifications in dental/orthodontic assisting

Commitment to continuous learning and development in the dental/orthodontic field
