We are seeking to find an experienced Dental Assistant- full time and an experienced Dental Receptionist- part time to join our team!

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are seeking two positive, enthusiastic and reliable people to join our busy family-oriented clinic to assist in providing quality care for patients and deliver service with a smile!

DENTAL ASSISTANT ROLE

· Includes but is not limited to all aspects of Dental Assisting and Sterilization duties.

· Prior dental assisting experience is required as we are a high volume and fast paced practice. Cert III in Dental Assisting is highly regarded however not essential.

· May be rotated to the reception area if your skill-set will allow

DENTAL RECEPTIONIST ROLE

· Greeting patients with a smile and commitment to excellent record keeping practices

· Organising patient appointments, including liaising with specialists

· All aspects of reception management including patient recalls & debt management

· Assisting in sterilizing procedures when required.

· Coordination of auxiliary staff to facilitate a productive day for the whole team

· Facilitating a positive team morale- lead by example, and encourage staff to work together

· Working with our current receptionist/front office coordinator as a united front to provide excellent front of house experience for our patients

· Prior dental reception experience is required. Experience with Exact software is a bonus

Attributes of the successful applicant:

· Self-motivated and discipline to complete given tasks

· Team-oriented

· Positive outlook, have an encouraging personality and be able to show empathy and respect to patients and fellow staff members

· Experience in a previous role will be an advantage- a working knowledge of Exact is a bonus

· A holder of a Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred but not essential
