Role Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our dentists and ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for our patients. You’ll work across general and specialty dental procedures, manage infection control protocols, and contribute to the daily operations of a high-functioning team.

Key Responsibilities

Chairside assisting during dental procedures

Setting up and cleaning treatment rooms

Sterilisation of instruments and infection control

Assisting with patient care and comfort

Accurate record keeping and dental charting

Supporting stock management and clinic upkeep

Occasional reception or administrative duties

What We’re Looking For

Trainee Dental Assistant:

No previous dental experience required

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Professional presentation and communication skills

Enrolled in (or willing to enrol in) a Certificate III in Dental Assisting

Experienced Dental Assistant:

Minimum 1 year chairside experience

Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred)

Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Positive and proactive attitude
