LSG are one of Sydney's leading Transport Solutions company with a well renowned reputation for Excellence, Compliance and Reliability. Due to a recent expansion of our business, We are seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to join our winning team.
We operate a large fleet of Tipper trucks and you will be reporting directly to the transport manager. As the Transport Administrator you will assist, manage and supervise different aspects of the Business.
These will include:
The daily allocation of the fleet.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Supervision and leadership of our team of drivers.
Recruitment and training of drivers.
Interface with our in-house maintenance team.
Liaising with our customers
Your strong ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment will be critical to this role and to your success in our dynamic, growing company.
Required Experience and Skills
Previous experience in a similar role and demonstrated administration knowledge in the Transport industry..
Be highly organized with a strong focus and attention to detail
Have a high level of communication skills and the ability to lead a large team, maintaining morale and productivity.
Experience supervising and 20+ drivers.
Have exceptional customer service skills.
Have a working knowledge of Transport regulations.
Knowledge of chain of responsibility regulations is required.
Supporting other operations team members in managing the day-to-day challenges faced by the fleet.
Be prepared to work extended hours in return for generous remuneration.
