Job Purpose

We’re on the lookout for a clinical counselor to deliver high-quality, purpose-driven psychological care across a diverse caseload—while contributing to a collaborative, future-focused team culture. This role supports vulnerable clients, provides professional autonomy, therapeutic creativity, and ongoing development, empowering you to apply a range of modalities, co-facilitate groups, and foster a psychologically safe and learning-oriented workplace.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Deliver high-quality counselling services across a diverse caseload including trauma, relational, and rehabilitation clients, provide one on one, couple and family support where appropriate

Apply a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs, supported by strong clinical formulations and clear rationale for evidence-based practice

Collaborate with a supportive team, engaging in both peer and individual supervision

Maintain ethical standards and contribute to a psychologically safe and inclusive workplace

Manage your own timetable and caseload with flexibility and autonomy

Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current and inspired

Contribute to a culture of learning and excellence by providing training and insights to fellow staff

Co-facilitate therapeutic groups, bringing creativity and structure to shared healing spaces

To Be Successful, You Must Have the Following

Registration with PACFA or ACA

SIRA registration or eligibility

Victim Services accreditation or eligibility

Demonstrated clinical competence across a range of therapeutic modalities

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good time management

A growth mindset—open to feedback, learning, and expanding your scope

Initiative, adaptability, intuition and a collaborative spirit

A genuine passion for private practice and client care
