Join our team at out Medicare Mental Health Centre in Lismore! We're currently seeking a Clinical Lead for a permanent part-time role (approximately four days per week), reporting directly to the Clinical Services Manager.
In this leadership position, you'll oversee the coordination and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical services and psychological interventions tailored to the unique needs of our clients. Alongside providing direct client care, you'll supervise both clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure exceptional service delivery. To support effective supervision, the Clinical Lead will maintain a 0.5 caseload.

One a day-to-day basis you will be:
- · Provide client-centred psychological care through assessments and evidence-based interventions, involving families and significant others where appropriate
- · Supervise and manage 6 - 8 staff (social workers, mental health nurses, or counsellors), and oversee on-site student supervision
- · Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including subcontractors and in-kind service providers
- · Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to support integrated service delivery
- · Maintain high-quality client records and participate in case reviews, supervision, peer reflection, and team meetings, ensuring ethical and legislative compliance
About you:
Are you a professional, innovative, and caring clinician who thrives as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and enjoys working with a wide range of external stakeholders involved in providing health, mental health, and psychosocial services and has leadership experience?
We’re also looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant clinical discipline (e.g. psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing), with registration through AHPRA, AASW, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience delivering inclusive, high-quality therapeutic services focused on mental health and well-being, using solution-focused approaches
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, formulation, diagnosis, and evidence-based psychological treatment of mental health disorders
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, implementing risk management plans, and delivering crisis interventions
- Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills, with the ability to engage staff, clients, families, and significant others in collaborative service delivery; specialist training in complex disorders is desirable

- Current open Driver Licence.
- Police Check that has been completed within the last three months.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to hold one.
