We are seeking a highly capable and driven Senior Finance Manager to join a growing global real estate investment firm. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Managing Directors across international divisions in a dynamic, scale-up environment.

As part of an ongoing finance transformation, that being the start-up of the firms APAC Accounting hub, you will play a key role in building the finance function, designing and implementing new processes, and driving strategic financial initiatives across their expanding Australian portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with divisional Managing Directors and global stakeholders to provide financial leadership and insights into business performance and compliance.
• Lead tax structuring for new investments in Australia, ensuring compliance and optimisation.
• Oversee financial and investor reporting, maintaining accuracy, transparency, and timeliness.
• Manage liquidity planning and cash flow forecasting to support investment and operational needs.
• Budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, and analytical problem solving.
• Design, build, and implement financial processes and controls in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
• Support the outsourcing of finance operations and be instrumental in building and hiring a new team as the Australian portfolio evolves.
• Work closely with investment teams to support deal structuring, performance analysis, and due diligence.
• Contribute to the wider finance transformation agenda, including system implementations and operational improvements.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent).
• Experience in real estate, private equity, investment management, funds management or similar sectors is essential.
• Experience working in international businesses with a global footprint is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of building finance functions, implementing processes, and leading transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of tax structuring, investor reporting, and liquidity management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, fast-growing, and evolving business environment.
