Senior Manager role leading a team

$160k - $170k + Super + Bonus

This highly successful Top 100 ASX listed property fund manager has a diversified asset base and is constantly growing its holdings. As part of this growth they are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join their team and be part of their innovative, collaborative culture.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead a team of Fund Accountants and be responsible for:

Ownership of the finance function for a portfolio of property funds

Review of management reporting and balance sheet reconciliations

Preparation and review of the funds’ statutory financial statements

Review of BAS returns in line with Charter Hall Group policies and procedures 

Preparation and review of tax forecast and distribution calculations

Ownership of the relationship with the external audit team to ensure that audit queries are responded to in a timely and efficient manner

Ownership of the finance function with regards to the disposal and acquisition of properties and/or trusts

Review and delivery of fund unit pricing

Preparation and review of investor reporting including ad hoc requests

Provision of technical accounting and taxation recommendation

You will be CA/CPA qualified with 8+ years experience in Finance & Accounting including:

2+ years as a Finance Manager

Experience leading a team

Experience in property fund accounting and financial reporting

Ability to work in a large, complex environment

Be highly adaptable and enjoy change

Excellent communication skills
