Our client based in Thomastown, specialising in the Manufacturing of Smallgoods products such as pork, am and salami are currently looking for a highly driven Logistics Officer to join the fast faced, growing team.
Start and finish time is flexible with Full Time hours available, working in a fast-paced environment will mean you are never bored!!
Your primary responsibilities will be:
Data entry and validation of daily stock transfer (in house systems).
General phone and administration duties.
Assist with order picking as required and dispatching them using a mix of paper and scanning.
Collect and recording of data according
Ensure stock levels by ordering materials, maintaining purchasing records in line with procedures.
Investigate all complaints or reported quality issues.
Essential Required Skills/ Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role
Great communication skills.
The ability to show initiative.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Audit experience is highly desirable.
Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word and other MS applications
Must have clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in the food or smallgoods industry an advantage.
