About the company:

Our client, a reputable packaging organization is rapidly growing. They manufacture packaging products for the Food and dairy industry. They are currently seeking a Production officer with a high attention to detail to join their thriving organization on an ongoing basis.

• Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager this is a significant role and is crucial for the ongoing success of this site. This role will be based in the Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining stock levels
• Ordering materials
• Inventory control
• Process incoming invoices
• Work cross-functionally
• Cycle counts
• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors
• Receiving goods
• Approving invoices
• Managing the movement and supply of items to other facilities.

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Strong experience with SAP
• Warehousing or inventory management background.
• Tertiary degree in Inventory control or related field is ideal
• Able to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
