About the Position:
We seek a qualified Computer Network and Systems Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and optimize secure IT infrastructures while ensuring seamless network and system performance.

Job Duties:

Examine and interpret complex system designs, architecture specifications, data models, and diagrams to support the setup, configuration, and integration of IT systems.

Investigate, evaluate, and monitor network infrastructure to ensure systems are operating efficiently, reliably, and at peak performance.

Review network operations and recommend enhancements for integrated hardware, software, communications, and operating environments.

Provide expert support to diagnose and resolve advanced network issues, including urgent or emergency situations.

Deploy, configure, test, maintain, and administer new or upgraded networks, servers, software applications, databases, and workstations.

Create and maintain network scripts or programs tailored to meet specific organisational requirements.

Develop and update procedures and documentation for network assets, including tracking faults, implementing modifications, and recording maintenance activities.

Track network activity, usage, capacity, and performance to ensure system integrity and optimal efficiency.

Design, implement, and fine-tune network and system services, ensuring configuration management and operational readiness across multiple operating systems, while providing troubleshooting and fault resolution support.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Computer Network and Systems Engineer or similar role.

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and enterprise network security (Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Cloudflare).

Experience with system virtualization, cloud services, and private cloud architectures.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, including mentoring junior support staff.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of performing in high-demand technical environments.
