This is an opportunity to join the business in an in-house role, where you’ll be part of a dedicated technology team maintaining and improving large-scale enterprise networks. You’ll work on a mix of BAU, upgrades, and transformation projects while developing expertise in SD-WAN, cloud, and automation.

About the Role

The Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting, operating, and enhancing enterprise network environments across data centres, campus, and WAN. You’ll collaborate closely with internal IT, security, and cloud teams to ensure a secure, resilient, and high-performing network.

This role is ideal for someone with strong networking fundamentals who wants to move into a stable, enterprise in-house role with clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Support

Monitor and maintain core enterprise LAN/WAN and wireless networks

Respond to incidents, perform troubleshooting, and manage escalations

Ensure network availability and performance through proactive monitoring

Projects & Upgrades

Support network refresh, migration, and upgrade programs

Assist in implementing SD-WAN and cloud-integrated networking solutions

Contribute to design and configuration alongside senior engineers

Collaboration & Growth

Work closely with security teams on firewall and access policies

Partner with cloud teams on hybrid connectivity projects

Learn from senior engineers and gain exposure to architecture and design

Ideal Candidate

5 years' experience in network engineering or infrastructure support

Solid knowledge of Cisco networking (routing, switching, wireless)

Exposure to firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA)

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in complex environments

CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience (or working towards certification)
