About the Role

As a Network Engineer at Informatech, you’ll be responsible for delivering secure network design, planning and implementation activities across a range of high-profile Defence programs. You’ll work closely with other technical specialists to resolve complex issues, optimise network performance and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate, diagnose and resolve network issues, providing expert advice and preventative strategies.

Manage support requests and ensure problems are addressed in line with standards, policies and procedures.

Design and implement network changes and maintenance activities.

Apply knowledge of Defence and industry data, voice and audio networking technologies.

Identify alternative solutions and mitigation strategies for complex network problems.

Contribute to other network engineering tasks as required.

Skills and Experience

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or a related field.

Strong experience in network security, including enterprise proxy and load balancing systems.

Background working across diverse network systems and architectures.

Proven ability to deliver secure network solutions in complex environments.

Ideally experience working within Defence or other highly secure Federal Government environments.
