The Senior Manager Analytics leads a team of Analysts to deliver actionable insights and analytics to empower university staff to enable impactful teaching and research, drive sustainable performance, and deliver outstanding student experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Deliver high-quality, actionable insights that support strategic planning, student load, and fee analysis.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the University, ensuring analytics outcomes meet strategic needs.
• Oversee the development of reporting packs, dashboards, and analytics products using Snowflake, SQL, and Power BI.
• Partner with faculties and portfolios to interpret data, forecast trends, and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Ensure strong governance, data quality, and compliance with University standards.
• Advocate for a strong data culture across the University, empowering staff to leverage analytics in decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting, planning processes, and operational excellence.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience leading high-performing analytics or data teams in large, complex organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at senior levels.
• Demonstrated expertise in analytics delivery and storytelling, translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Technical foundation in Snowflake, Power BI, and SQL (hands-on not required, but ability to lead in this environment is essential).
• Strategic mindset with a track record of delivering impactful reporting, insights, and recommendations.
• Experience in the higher education sector (highly desirable).
• A leadership style defined by authenticity, collaboration, and the ability to build trust.
