Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Data and Digital to lead our data strategy, drive innovation, and empower decision-making across the organisation.
Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is a not-for-profit health care organisation based in Wagga Wagga, the largest inland city in rural New South Wales, and we are committed to enhancing the health and well-being of our communities and the region we support. We work in partnership with healthcare providers, including Allied Health, General Practice, Pharmacy, and Aged Care, to deliver innovative, evidence-based primary care solutions.
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement MPHN’s data strategy to support health needs assessment, service planning, and organisational decision-making.
Lead a small, high-performing team of analysts and researchers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Ensure data quality, privacy, and security compliance, including ISO27001 standards.
Analyse complex datasets and deliver innovative solutions, including GenAI applications, dashboards, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to translate data into actionable insights that improve population health outcomes.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Information Management, Health Informatics, Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experienced in data management, digital strategy, research, and privacy compliance.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring teams.
Knowledge of information security frameworks and ethical data use.
Skilled at translating complex data into accessible insights for diverse stakeholders.
Passionate about using data to drive impact and continuous improvement.

The Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is one of 31 new primary health care organisation being established from 1 July 2015 with the key objectives of:
Increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes; and
Improving coordination of care to ensure patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.
Primary Health Networks have been set six key priorities for targeted work; mental health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, population health, health workforce, eHealth and aged care. The MPHN will be working with health service providers, consumers and communities to improve coordination of care, ensuring patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.
