About the role

Delia Group is seeking experienced and talented Chefs to join the team at our acclaimed Maha Restaurant in the heart of Melbourne. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering exceptional contemporary Middle Eastern cuisine in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a range of Middle Eastern dishes to the highest standard

Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Collaborating with the Head Chef to refine and develop the menu

Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff

Ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to specification

Contributing to a positive and productive team culture

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef in a high-quality restaurant environment

Strong knowledge and passion for Middle Eastern cuisine

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

Relevant cookery qualification or certification
