About the Opportunity
Please Note: This is a full-time temporary potion (3 month contract)
As the People & Culture Support Officer, you will assist the Director People & Culture and wider HR team, to provide vital administrative and operational support across recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, learning and development, policy, and workforce initiatives.
You’ll be part of a values-driven organisation making a real impact across urban, regional, and remote Northern Territory communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Coordinate internal training, workshops, and cultural events
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities
- Contribute to reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate or Diploma in HR or equivalent experience
- Strong admin and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Experience with HRIS systems (Subscribe-HR preferred)
- Understanding of HR compliance and Fair Work legislation
- Commitment to culturally safe and inclusive practices
- Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must provide 100 points of identification to confirm Australian citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia; possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a current National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a valid NT driver’s licence.
Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
