About the Opportunity
As the Administration Assistant, you will assist the Program Manager and Coordinator with staff rostering and a range of administrative tasks. You’ll help maintain accurate records, support financial processes, and liaise with participants and stakeholders to ensure services meet individual needs and goals.
This position also includes scheduling support for regional areas and contributes to the overall performance of the team through collaboration and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage staff rosters to meet service delivery needs.
  • Maintain client documentation and data entry in line with policies.
  • Assist with monthly invoicing and financial administration.
  • Support case planning and coordination for aged care participants.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and service providers.
  • Contribute to team development and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in administration and rostering within the Aged Care sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems.
  • Understanding of strengths-based case management and wellness approaches.
  • Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must provide 100 points of identification to confirm Australian citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia; possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a current National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a valid NT driver’s licence.
Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
