The Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced External Sales Representative (Process Valves) to join our Melbourne Process Equipment team.

Reporting to the Products Manager, this role is a client focused position and in line with created customer action plans, you will develop and execute call plans, create and implement branch sales and with the Kempe team drive the development of the Process Valves within Kempe Engineering Melbourne.

You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to develop and maintain key client relationships, be customer service orientated and table a track record in sales and growth opportunities.

External Sales Key Responsibilities:

· Engage customers and identify new opportunities

· General administration including client specific portals

· Quotations: acknowledge, generate and follow up

· Sales orders: generate, acknowledge and expedite

· Purchase orders: generate and expedite

· Meet or exceed DIFOT and KPI's

· Specializing in technical Valve sales, providing customers with all information to promote product sales, services, repairs and any other relevant information to promote sales across all Kempe Engineering products and services

· Development customer action and call plans to achieve the Branch Sales

· Implement call plans & call cycles to develop customer relationships, identify growth opportunities and achieve sales and business goals.

· Complete customer call reports & provide management with feedback on key customer activities & business opportunities.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position

· Proactive safety focus.

· Must have a sound understanding of process valves, equipment components and applications.

· Mechanically minded

· Excellent work ethic

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers

· Be personable and enjoy working with others

· Customer Service orientated.

· Demonstrated track record with sales growth with existing and new products,

markets and customers.

· Ability to solve technical problems & offer technical solutions

· Strong communication, organizational and team working skills with ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently

· Willing to learn and explore new products and markets

· Intermediate MS Office skills (including Excel)

· Australian Driver's license

· Ability to pass full medical
