SALARY: $65,000 – $70,000 per annum (pro rata), plus 12% superannuation
EMPLOYMENT: Full Time, flexible or could be offered as Part Time
POSITION SUMMARY
The Inclusion Action Plan Coordinator works within the Operations & Finance department and is directly accountable to the Executive Director – Operations & Finance. The primary role of the Inclusion Action Plan Coordinator is to ensure the implementation of Adelaide Fringe’s Disability Inclusion, Sustainability, Reconciliation and Multicultural Action Plan are tracked and outcomes delivered upon.
The Inclusion Action Plan Coordinator will have a practical approach, and hands on attitude. The role requires high level administration skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, communicate effectively and complete their work to a high standard in a busy environment. The role comprises a vital component in an agile team, implementing and growing Adelaide Fringe’s strategies and practices to actively move beyond the minimums in pursuit of inclusion.
ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Department: Operations & Finance
Supervises: Nil
Internal Liaisons: Executive Directors, Heads of Departments, Operations & Finance team, Artist & Venue Manager and team, Volunteer Coordinator, Partnership Manager, Production Coordinators, Marketing Coordinators and other Adelaide Fringe staff and departments.
External Liaisons: Adelaide Fringe partners, Government departments, Councils, artists, venues, service providers, industry business groups and professional bodies, audience as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the implementation of the Disability Inclusion Action Plan, Sustainability Action Plan, Reconciliation Action Plan and Multicultural Action Plan are tracked and outcomes delivered upon.
Together with the Executive Director – Operations & Finance and other relevant internal departments, develop the new Multicultural strategy.
Coordinate all internal and external committees that sit within the Diversity & Inclusion department namely; Reconciliation, Sustainability, Accessibility, Multicultural
Support and actively contribute to community outreach, forums and roundtable strategies associated within the Reconciliation, Sustainability, Accessibility and Multicultural plans
Support the implementation of Adelaide Fringe’s Aboriginal Workforce Strategy, in partnership with the Executive Director – Operations & Finance, to deliver upon State Government Aboriginal employment targets.
Actively participate in organisational strategies that positively transform organisation culture in the domains of diversity and inclusion.
Engage employees across the organisation to take part in learning and implementing diversity and inclusion practices and initiatives.
Proactively raise awareness for internal and external stakeholders and keep up to date with diversity and inclusion practices in collaboration with HR.
Develop and strengthen partnerships and knowledge networks within the organisation and the community that promote employee diversity and inclusion.
Analyse and report on diversity and inclusion survey metrics, highlighting trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with other Festivals and ensure Adelaide Fringe is the driving force in the Diversity space.
Support and project manage events in line with Adelaide Fringe action plans that engage with the relevant communities and participants of Adelaide Fringe.
Manage projects with designated timeframes and budgets in a complex and fast-paced festival environment
Research and apply for Grants to support the work in the Diversity and Inclusion department.
Observe and follow all Work, Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.

Education & Experience
Understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds, identities, and experiences essential
Sensitivity to issues of race, gender, disability, LGBTQIA+, and other dimensions of diversity
Experience organising events, campaigns, or training sessions (desirable)
Capacity to work collaboratively and build partnerships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated knowledge and capacity to support workforce diversity and inclusion initiatives (desirable)
Experience working in a similar role (desirable)
