BRIEF JOB SUMMARY: We are currently seeking trade qualified C10 & C8 mechanical fitters for multiple roles in the Western and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. These roles offer a range of both casual and permanent assignments.

ABOUT THE ROLE: Our clients include some of Australia's most well-known manufacturing organizations. They are currently looking to add to their maintenance teams across a range of shift patterns that include regular overtime, market leading hourly rates and job security.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter engaged at C10 & C8 classification.

Sound maintenance knowledge; maintaining production plant including working on high-speed machinery, breakdowns and preventative maintenance.

Previous industrial experience within manufacturing.

Knowledge of Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing strategies and initiatives

Rational thinker with an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving

High level attention to detail

Have a proactive approach, strong work ethic, ability to meet the challenge and contribute to the team

Effective communication skills

Computer literate - including the use of CMMS Software

WHATS ON OFFER:

Day Shift - C10 $61.56ph / C8 $66.75ph + super + daily travel allowance at $28 per shift.

Entitlements include long service, redundancy and income protection contributions.
