Senior Business Analyst - Payroll Transformation Program

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a large-scale Payroll Transformation program for a leading ASX-listed company. This is a long-term initiative, and you'll play a key role in helping the business move from a complex legacy payroll environment into a modern, enterprise-grade solution.

Prior payroll domain experience is helpful but not essential - what's critical is your ability to navigate and deliver in large, structured waterfall programs, lead requirements gathering, and mentor junior BAs to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document current processes ("as-is") and define future processes ("to-be") across payroll, HR, and finance.
• Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and work with the technology team to ensure delivery.
• Lead and mentor junior BAs, providing guidance on requirements documentation, stakeholder engagement, and delivery best practices.
• Support all phases of the waterfall lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing, transition, and handover.
• Facilitate workshops, review sessions, and maintain clear documentation for project governance.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on large-scale, waterfall-style programs.
• Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior BAs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Adaptable, solution-focused, and capable of quickly making an impact in a fast-moving program.
